AMBER Alert: Missing 12-year-old last seen in North Texas

Authorities have issued a Texas AMBER Alert for a 12-year-old girl last seen in Waxahachie on Wednesday. Tanya Jackson left her home on Brenna Road in Waxahachie, TX, around 10 a.m. on Feb. 14. Known by the nickname “Tay Tay,” it’s unknown what she was wearing at the time.

Since her disappearance, investigators, along with members of the Homeland Security Investigations North Texas Trafficking Task Force, have been diligently pursuing leads. Jackson left her cell phone behind, and investigators have been exploring leads from calls, messages, and social media accounts nationwide throughout the night. Unfortunately, all potential leads have been exhausted.

As the investigation progresses, police express serious concern for Jackson’s well-being. They hope that community members may have seen her and urge anyone with information to contact the Waxahachie Police Department or local law enforcement.

Authorities are appealing to the public, asking anyone who has seen Tanya Jackson to call the Waxahachie Police Department at (469) 309-4400.
