The University of Calabar has announced her the date and schedule for the 36th university of Calabar convocation ceremony, below is the line up of activities for the schedule of activities of the fourth coming unical convocation ceremony.
In a statement signed by the registrar, Mr Egbe unbehalf of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Florence Banku Obi which stated as follows
“on behalf of Senate, Staff and Students of the University of Calabar cordially invites the general public to the 36th Convocation Ceremony for the Conferment of Diplomas, First Degrees, Higher Degrees and award of Honorary Degrees and Prizes to its graduands up to and including the 2021/2022 session as follows:

INFORMATION TO GRADUANDS
Academic Gowns
Gowns are to be obtained from the Faculty Officers on
presentation of evidence of payment of School Charges. Gowns not returned by March 29, 2024 will attract a fine of N1,000,00 per day.
For Post Graduate School Graduands, the following will apply:
(1) Outright Purchase of Academic Gowns
(i) Ph.D gowns = N59,500.00 each
(ii) Masters gowns = N35,000.00 each
(2) Hiring of Academic Gowns
Masters/PGDs gowns = N25,000.00 each
Please note that all academic gowns hired from the Graduate School must be returned within seven (7) days from the date of the convocation. Defaulters will be sanctioned as appropriate.
Invitation Cards for Parents/Guardians
Every Ph.D/Masters graduand shall be issued one invitation card by the Faculty Officers to enable them invite one guest each.
Procession
The Convocation Procession will adhere strictly to the Keffi Protocol for the conduct of Convocation.
Graduands should robe and join the procession in their various Faculties. Graduands who do not robe will not be allowed into the convocation grounds. Photographers will not be allowed at the procession. All photographs will be taken after the convocation.
Prizes and Awards
Prizes and Awards will be announced and presented to winners at the Convocation field.
Alumni Membership Registration
Graduands will be expected to complete registration forms for alumni membership from their Faculty Officers and pay membership registration fee.
The University of Calabar administration looks forward to welcoming all her graduands/well-wishers to the Combined Convocation Ceremony.
