The third of five kids, Tonto Dikeh was born into a household of seven. Her family is of Ikwerre ancestry and is from the LGA of Obio-Akpor in Rivers State. She lost her mother when she was 3 years old, and her stepmother, who has two kids, raised her.
Dikeh attended Rivers State University of Science and Technology to study petrochemical engineering. Prince Joseph Kpokpogri, Tonto Dikeh’s ex-fiance, filed a lawsuit against both of them in September 2021, alleging that they had threatened his basic human rights. Kpokpogri claimed he parted ways with Tonto due to her heavy drinking and smoking habits.

In August 2015, she wed Olakunle Churchill in a traditional ceremony. She was said to have had a sexual relationship with Rukky Sanda in 2014. The rumor was refuted, nevertheless, in an interview with Rukky Sanda. Dikeh gave birth to her son in February 2016, and she given him the moniker Baby X. The pair, however, separated after that and went their separate ways.
Early in October 2021, Dikeh became embroiled in a scandal after posting on her social media accounts what appeared to be voicemails claiming that her ex-boyfriend, JOSEPH EGBRI (also known as Prince Kpokpogri), had naked pictures and sex tapes of Usiwo Orezimena Jane, a popular dancer from Nigeria, on his phone.
After reportedly having a contentious separation with her ex-lover, Kpokpogri, in September, Dikeh allegedly made the accusations.
