Gao started her career in animation, working on shows like The Mighty B! and Back at the Barnyard for Nickelodeon. She went on to work on Big Time Rush and Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness for the network, before leaving to freelance on other shows like Adult Swim’s Robot Chicken, Cartoon Network’s The High Fructose Adventures of Annoying Orange, and Disney XD’s Lab Rats.
