Burna Boy made a breakthrough in 2012 when he released a song titled “Like to party”, the most recognized single from his debut studio album titled L.I.F.E released in 2013.

Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu A.K.A Burna Boy is a Nigerian, born in Port Harcourt to be precised. His father worked as a manager in a welding company while his mother worked as a translator. His grandfather Benson Idonije once managed Fela Kuti. Burna’s mother Bose Ogulu would later become his manager. Ogulu grew up in southern Nigeria and started making his own beats using FruityLoops. Burna Boy was featured in a song titled “Sunshine Riptide” which was a track from Fall Out Boy’s seventh studio album MANIA in early 2018.
His third studio album was released Outside on 26 January 2018 and Described as a mixtape Outside consists mostly of Afrobeats, dancehall, reggae and road rap.
