Nicholas Scott Cannon popularly Known as Nick Cannon’s is an American television host, rapper, actor and comedian, he was born October 8 in 1980. In television, Cannon started as a teenager on All That before going on to host The Nick Cannon Show, Wild ‘n Out, America’s Got Talent, Lip Sync Battle Shorties, and The Masked Singer. He played a particular role in the films Drumline, Love Don’t Cost a Thing and Roll Bounce.
Being a rapper he released his debut self-titled album in 2003 with the single “Gigolo”, a collaboration with singer R. Kelly. In 2007 he played the role of the fictional footballer TJ Harper in the film Goal II: Living the Dream. Cannon recorded the singles titled “Dime Piece” in 2006 and “My Wife” for the planned album Stages which was never released.
Nick Cannon’s Early Life
Cannon was born on 8 October 1980 in San Diego, California. Cannon was largely brought up by his paternal grandfather whom both he and his biological father called “dad”. Being a child, Cannon grew up in Lincoln Park’s Bay Vista Housing Projects, which is a gang-ridden section of Southeast San Diego.
When Nick is in his teenage years he was affiliated with the “Lincoln Park Bloods” street gang but he said that he left behind his affiliations after losing a close friend. He graduated from Monte Vista High School in Spring Valley in 1998 where he was president of the African Student Coalition and participated in track and field. Cannon received his first came to spotlight doing stand-up comedy on his father’s local cable access program.

Cannon was one-third of the rap group “Da G4 Dope Bomb Squad” while he was a teenager and they opened for the likes of celebrities like Will Smith, LFO, 98 Degrees and Montell Jordan.
After the collaboration with Jive Records in 2001, he was featured alongside artists like Romeo Miller and 3LW on the Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius soundtrack with a cover of the 1988 hit song titled “Parents Just Don’t Understand”. His debut self titled album was released in 2003 and consisted of the single “Your Pops Don’t Like Me (I Really Don’t Like This Dude)”.
Cannon formed his own record label in 2005 which was named Can-I-Ball Records, where he plans to release his second studio album entitled Stages later that year. The album’s first single titled “Can I Live?”, an anti-abortion song which was released in July 2005 followed by the second single titled “Dime Piece” which was released in March 2006. Although, that was never released because of Nick Cannon’s acting career.
Cannon formed a new label after cancelling his old label named Can-I-Ball Records entitled N’Credible Entertainment in 2009. He created a parody of hip hop pioneer Slick Rick entitled “Slick Nick” in 2010. He released two songs by the character which was titled “I’m a Slick Rick” while a freestyle of Cali Swag District’s “Teach Me How to Dougie” in which he attempted to diss hip hop mega-star Eminem and “Nick’s Story” in which a freestyle rap version of Slick Rick’s titled “Children’s Story”. December 6 in 2011 is when Nick Cannon released his debut mixtape entitled Child of the Corn.
On 26th of July in 2013, Nick Cannon premiered his a new single titled “Me Sexy” and announced over seven years after the shelving of his album Stages that he was working on a new second studio album entitled White People Party Music which is in collaborations with other artists which are Afrojack, Pitbull, Future and Polow da Don.
The album’s second single titled “Looking for a Dream” was released on February 11 in 2014. The song features Afrojack while the music video was released on VEVO on February 13.
On November 16 in 2016, Cannon released his second mixtape The Gospel of Ike Turn Up: My Side of the Story. Before the release of the mixtape, a music video for the single titled “If I Was Your Man” was released on November 7 in 2016.
On December 2 in 2016, he released a single titled “Hold On” on iTunes. Cannon later released “The Invitation” which happen to be an Eminem diss track. On 9th of December in 2019 as a response to Eminem’s feature on Fat Joe and Dre’s “Family Ties” dissing Cannon. In the track featured former record producer and convicted felon Suge Knight, as well as rappers which are Hitman Holla, Charlie Clips and Prince Eazy, whom he referred to as “The Black Squad”. After Eminem responded to Cannon with two tweets, Cannon released a second diss track the next day featuring the same rappers as well as Conceited named “Pray For Him”.

Carey gave birth to fraternal twins on 30 April in 2011 which are a boy and a girl. After six years of marriage the couple divorced and filed for divorce in 2014 but reunited briefly in 2015 while their divorce was finalized in 2016.
Cannon has two kids with model Brittany Bell. She gave birth to a son born February 2017 and a daughter born December 2020.
His twin sons were conceived to DJ Abby De La Rosa in June 2021. After that month his seventh child a son called Zen with model Alyssa Scott was convinced. After five months old of convinced Zen died of brain cancer. Cannon disclosed the information that he is expecting a boy with model Bre Tiesi in January 2022.
