She came in spotlight when she won the Africa Movie Academy Award for the Best Actress in a role she lead in year 2005, this make her the first actress to win that Award. Due to her hard work in the industry, she was honoured as a member of the order of the Federal Republic by the Nigerian government. She directed a movie title LIONHEART and this movie is the first Netflix Original from the whole Nigeria.
