Famous Actor Mark Salling, 35, found dead in Los Angeles
Mark Salling, US actor known for his role in the TV series Glee, was found dead close to his Los Angeles home, BBC reports.
US media reports indicate he might have taken his own life.
The 35-year-old was expected to have between seven and four years in prison after pleading guilty to possessing child sex abuse pictures. His sentencing was expected on 7 March.
He entered into a plea bargain last October, preventing a longer prison sentence of up to 20 years.
He had been detained in 2015 after a tip-off he was in possession of pictures of children being sexually abused.
Researchers finally found thousands of misuse pictures on his laptop and hard disk.
Salling’s attorney, Michael J Proctor, said in a statement: “I can confirm that Mark Salling passed out early that afternoon. Mark was a loving person, a man of wonderful imagination, who had been doing his best to atone for a few critical mistakes and errors of judgment.
“He is survived by his mother and father, and his brother. The Salling family appreciates the support they have been receiving and asks for their privacy to be respected.”
