SIM card in a phone without airtime or top up can’t be use to communicate with people. We have different types of SIM card that we use here in Nigeria, such as MTN, Glo, Airtel and Etisalat

Nothing is wrong when you forget the code to load your recharge card but it will be very difficult to recharge your SIM card without the code we use to recharge. I was so surprised when a guy walk up to me and asked me to help him with the code to recharge his SIM card.

To recharge your MTN SIM card

Dial *311*PIN# then press send

Note

The MTN recharge card pin is now 16 digits formerly 12 digits

Let’s take pin digit to be 3333 6666 8888 9999.

Then you will enter it on your phone like this. *311*3333666688889999# and you send it/ press ok.

Balance

To check the recharge card balance you will use the code below. After pressing the cold on your phone send it, it will show you your balance.

CODE TO RECHARGE ETISALAT SIM CARD

To recharge your Etisalat SIM card

Dial *222*PIN# send or enter the OK

Note

Etisalat recharge card pin has 15 digits.

Then you will enter it on your phone like this. *222*333366668888999# and you send it/ press ok.

Balance

To check the recharge card balance you will use the code below. After pressing the cold on your phone send it. It will show you your balance.

GLO recharge card pin has 15 digits.
